JAY KNOEPFEL  |  Founder, General Contractor

Jay is personally involved in every project regardless of scope or scale. He ensures the company delivers quality workmanship and stays on task and delivers projects in a timely manner. Jay has over 30 years hands on knowledge in the construction space and has built his company's success on the strength of a ceaseless commitment to integrity and attention to detail.

Jay has built over 140 residential homes, 5 Hotels, two private islands, a solar farm, race-track and countless smaller projects here in the US Virgin Islands. His keen problem-solving skills, uncompromising commitment to quality, and constructability expertise make him a highly sought after leader in the industry.

 

JEFF FETTERHOFF  | Chief Operating Officer

Jeff began working with JPK Development in 2018, after two category five hurricanes decimated our lovely islands.  Jeff lives in a JPK Development home which sustained little to no damage from the two storms. Jeff is the executive responsible for leading the company’s relentless pursuit of quality and contract performance –  both in terms of the quality end product delivered to our clients and also in our teams’ conformance to schedules and project resource allocation.

As a seasoned leader, Jeff understands that JPK’s positive reputation and continued growth is the result of our success in both of these key performance measures.  Jeff possesses the unique ability to foster collaborative synergy, from clients to architects, engineers, and subcontracted skilled trades, his signature down-to-earth style can be counted on to align project goals and priorities to achieve success.

 

SCOTT J. BURNLEY  | Chief Architect, RA, NCARB, LEED

Scott Burnley is an award-winning architect. With over thirty years’ experience, he is widely recognized as a leader in design by his peers and clients. Mr. Burnley is constantly expanding in new directions with a variety of innovative concepts and styles. He takes personal responsibility to work closely with clients in all phases of the project. From architectural design, specifications, cost analysis, planning, governmental approvals, and office production to and through construction with construction management.

Since moving to St Thomas full time, Scott’s experience on a wide variety of “island” projects and advanced quickly through roles of increasing responsibility.
